(Did you know? Font Families with Lower Case Letters are not recommended for lettering comics, for clarity and legibility concerns. It's also faster and easier to letter a comic with an All Caps Font Family.)
There's a lot to say about lettering! Most of it is very boring technical Graphic Design babble talk, so I don't know how much I can go on about it without losing your interest. However, if it's something that fascinates you, or something you want to learn more about, I'd recommend checking out The Essential Guide to Comic Book Lettering by Nate Piekos, the same designer of the font used for all dialogue in this comic.
Fun Fact: Mr. Piekos also designed a lovely font family based on my handwriting that I used to letter Part 2 of A Study in Scarlet and Blue: Spider-Sense and Sensibility.
(I am obviously a big nerdy fan of Piekos' work.)
